Christina will join the Mason & Cook Board, working closely with the leadership team, Gordon McAlpine, who was appointed as an NED to the firm in 2018 and the firm’s advisory board.

Dave Cook, CEO of Mason & Cook commented “We are absolutely delighted to attract an individual of such high standing in the global legal market to our business.

We have ambitious growth plans over the next few years, including building on our current offering within the U.S. market. Christina will play a key role in ensuring our services and products maintain the high standards for which we are known, whilst advising on delivering on our plans for growth.

Christina is at the forefront of driving efficiency, innovation and equality across the legal profession, with a focus on using technology as a key enabler.  It is a huge compliment to us, and our work, that she has joined the Mason & Cook team.

It is an extremely exciting time for us, and we are delighted to have Christina on-board for the next phase of our growth.”

Christina Blacklaws commented “What I learned from the global Women in Leadership in Law programme which I spearheaded at The Law Society, was the vital importance of getting good quality work and access to great clients at an early stage of women’s careers. The work allocation technology and process programme that Mason and Cook have designed and successfully delivered to many of the largest firms in the UK enables fair, transparent and efficient allocation and that works for everyone. Not only that, but there’s some really smart technology at its heart so this business marries my twin passions for equality and innovation in the legal sector.

I’m excited for the future and want to support Mason and Cook to deliver transformative services to a global market.”
